On this site I present myself, my background, my studies, my academical work and my professional work.

I will give you here a summary of the other pages in English.

I was born in the beautiful historical city of Hulst. After spending my youth there I started university in Antwerp. I studied Political Science bachelor and master there. During my master year I moved for half a year to the south of French to study at the Grande Ecole Sciences Po Toulouse. This was an amazing experience which made me really an European citizen. After finishing my courses there, subjects of the One-year degree International and Comparative Studies, I returned to the Low Countries firstly to finalise my master dissertation. In September 2016 I was proclaimed Master of Political Science. An achievement I’m very proud of and worked very hard for.

Here is the abstract of my master dissertation:

"In this comparative dissertation we explore the development of the Christian Democrats in Flanders and in the Netherlands. We investigate the effect of a changing party landscape on the ideology of the Christian Democratic parties CD&V and CDA. To start we describe those parties, their historical development and their unique ideology. For the last thirty-five years we indicate three important changes in the party landscape. Based on that we state three hypotheses. Firstly, the upswing of New Left, green parties made them profiling more green. Secondly the breakthrough of New Right, extreme/populistic right parties made them profiling more right wing. Thirdly the electoral success of conservative-nationalistic N-VA made CD&V profiling less conservative, and their absence in the Netherlands made CDA more conservative. By content analysis of fourteen party programs we collected data to test our hypotheses. We can conclude that these changes effected their ideology, the hypotheses are true but CD&V was clearly more sensitive for these changes than CDA."

After my years in Political Science I studied some extra courses at the Faculty of Economics as part of the master Organisation and Management.
During my studies I have been very active in several student associations. I have been leading two of them for multiple years: CDS Antwerpen and PFK-Spectrum.

In 2018 I started my professional carrier at ABN AMRO Private Banking as Employee Securities as part of the Operations department. In the team Trades & Options, Settlements and Database I had the role of a deputy Senior.

Now days I'm Senior of the Transfers & Network Management team.
